Every November 11th, the United States has a federal holiday for honoring all veterans who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Originally known as Armistice Day and Remembrance Day, it was used to celebrate the end of WWI. In 1954 it was changed to the Holiday we know today as Veterans Day. Hilbert held a ceremony outside on the chilly Monday morning which featured current students & faculty who are involved in our veterans program. Faculty, staff, and students gathered to watch and honor those who have served.
