Tasker To Speak At Hilbert College

The Hamburg Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Hilbert College to offer the fourth event of the series of “Better Your Business” seminars for the 2013 calendar year. On Friday, April 5 join the Hamburg Chamber at Hilbert College as Steve Tasker presents “Building a Successful Business.” The event will be held at Swan Hall Auditorium on the Hilbert College campus, located at 5200 South Park Ave., Hamburg. Check-in is at 7:30 a.m., breakfast and program at 8 a.m., and a question and answer session to follow at approximately 9 a.m.

The series aims to offer an informative and inspirational line up of speakers, trainers, and professionals to present on important topics that are pertinent to creating successful business strategies. The seminar on “Building a Successful Business” will be presented by Steve Tasker, a former Buffalo Bill and current spokesperson for the West Herr Automotive Group.

The presentation will offer valuable ideas, strategies and resources to business owners and entrepreneurs. Speaking from his experiences both on and off the field, Tasker will provide insight into successful team building, branding and promotional strategies that can be applied in “real world” office environments.

The event is open to the general public. Tickets are available for $15 for Hamburg Chamber Members and Member Guests and $20 for Future Chamber Members and a continental breakfast will be provided. The event is FREE for Hilbert students, alumni, faculty and staff.  Reservations must be made in advance and can be placed by calling the Hamburg Chamber at 649-7917 or visiting their website at http://www.hamburg-chamber.org for more details.
