On December 7, Hilbert College continued a Saint Francis tradition by hosting a live Nativity on campus. The Nativity recreated the night Jesus was born, which reminds us of the reason for the season: to take the time and be thankful for what we have those we love. The Nativity was brought to life with sheep, a donkey, and volunteers including Hilbert Students, families, and community members.
Afterwards, everyone headed to Hafner Recreation Center for a Christmas party which featured crafts, games, and pictures with Santa. The day concluded with a candelight mass in Hilbert’s St. Clare’s Chapel.
